Old phone, meet new phone
Smart Switch makes the transition between your phone and Galaxy Z Flip4 simple — even if you don't already have a Samsung Galaxy. In just a few steps it brings over your photos, texts, data and more.⁸
1. Flex mode supports angles between 75° and 115°.
2. Typical values tested under third-party laboratory conditions. Typical values are average values estimated taking into account variations in battery capacity between battery samples tested according to the IEC 61960 standard. The rated capacity is 3,595mAh.
3. Estimate based on average/typical user usage. Strategy Analytics independently evaluated the SM-F721U pre-release version using 5G Sub6 networks at default settings between July 7 and July 12, 2022 (not tested on 5G mmWave networks). Actual battery life varies depending on network environment, features and applications used, call and message frequency, number of charges, and many other factors.
4. Using a 25W or higher power adapter, it can charge from 0% to 50% in about 30 minutes.
5. Wireless charging compatible (QI standard) devices only. Wireless PowerShare may not operate if the battery charge is below 30%. May not work with certain accessories, cases, other brand devices, or certain Samsung wearables. Call reception or data service may be affected, depending on your network environment.

To transfer data from iCloud or other cloud storage services, a data connection is required. My review will be somewhat bias, as this is my 4th Z flip from having the first, second and Third, but coming from note phones, and why I stopped at the note 20 ultra as it was way too big. I just love how compact this phone is. I can put it in my pocket, in a small bag. Great to hold for my small hands. Better battery life, read notifications and emails from the front screen without having to open the phone. Great screen, sound and cameras. I even tried a S22 Ultra and just didn't get on with it coz of how big it is. I honestly won't go back to a candy bar phone. This flip4 is a overall great phone in a compact size.

Bought as a replacement for my wife's S20FE. Good impressions from the beginning, the Samsung smart transfer not only moved all the files and apps between the phoners but setup all the home screens and themes to be an exact match for her old phone. Of course, all the security details still had to be re-entered which took a little time but , once complete, it meant a seamless transition. I have always preferred a fingerprint reader on the power switch rather than in-screen and so that was a plus for me. The ability to use the main camera for selfies (you can see yourself on the outer screen) and voice control the camera by simply saying "Smile" so that it takes a picture is very neat. It means you can set the phone on any suitable surface and step back for the selfie. The screen is excellent and the fold is quickly "invisible" as you simply get used to it. I bought a clear Ringke case and so the colours continue to show through. My wife didn't even notice I had put it in a case! It means she can throw it in her handbag and not worry about scratches. She likes the colour scheme. She likes the portability. She likes the novelty selfies but most importantly, she likes that everything works in the same way as her old phone and everything is where it used to be.

Bought this for my wife with the expressed reason of the phone answer's a call when you 'flip' it open. This is exactly what she loves about it. Also likes that it's easier to get in & out of handbag.

I am still learning the ins and outs of the phone but so far it is absolutely awesome. The concept of a folding screen sounded crazy but it is so hard wearing, phone is super quick and has so many more features than my old Samsung. It's lightweight yet nice to hold in the hand.
